Most cataract patients are candidates for the Light Adjustable Lens, particularly if they want more precise vision and to eliminate the need for eyeglasses. You should not receive the Light Adjustable Lens if you have:

• significant pre-existing macula disease
• sensitivity to UV light
• uncontrollable eye movements
• a history of herpes in the eye
