Bailey Terhune, O.D.

Dr. Bailey Terhune is a certified, licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She’s a proud native Texan and was raised on her family’s four-generation farm in the Panhandle. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biochemistry with a minor in Biblical Studies. Later she completed her education at the University of Houston College of Optometry for her Doctorate. At UHCO, Dr. Terhune earned multiple awards for clinical excellence across her rotations, including the dry eye clinic, and served as President of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists Association.
Dr. Terhune completed her externship rotations at the Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth and NSUOCO in Tahlequah, Oklahoma where she gained extensive clinical experience managing diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and other ocular disease.
After graduating, Dr. Terhune worked in a variety of clinical settings around the greater Houston area focusing on primary care optometry and treating dry eye disease.
In her free time, Dr. Terhune loves spending time with her husband and her two young sons Jason and Matthew. Her hobbies include reading, doing puzzles, rock climbing, yoga, and attending concerts.
