Contact Lens Policies
We guarantee that you will be fitted with lenses that are of the utmost quality. A valid contact lens prescription is required for orders. Contact lens fittings/evaluations are required for both new and existing wearers. Houston Eye Associates will honor said fittings/evaluations for 60 days from your initial visit. This fitting fee/evaluation is a professional service and is non-refundable.
Soft Contact Lens Returns
Unopened Boxes can be returned up to 60 days, a restocking fee of $25.00 will apply. Boxes must be free of writing/marks, dents, tears, rips or punctures.
Hard Contact Lens Returns
Hard lenses/Specialty Contact Lenses are made to specific patient parameters. These lenses can be returned within 30 days for a 50% refund.
Prescription Changes
Changes made within 60 days will be replaced for full credit. For changes made after this initial time, please speak to office staff for more information.
Spectacle Policies
Eyewear purchased at Houston Eye Associates will be adjusted for the life of frame. Eyewear presented in office that was purchased elsewhere will be gladly adjusted, however the optical or optician is not liable for any breakage/damage that may occur.
Frame Warranties
Frames purchased from Houston Eye Associates are warrantied from manufacturers defects for 1 year. Please present your frame to an optician for assessment.
Lens Warranties
Lenses purchased from Houston Eye Associates carry a 1-time lens warranty if purchased with an Anti-Reflective Treatment. 2nd replacements will be honored at 50% of charge.
Prescription Changes
Lenses purchased from Houston Eye Associates carry a 60 day warranty for prescription changes. Lenses will be remade at no charge but must be finalized by an optician. 2nd replacements are subject to a 50% charge. Stellest lenses are subject to a 6 month follow-up which include recheck and new lenses if there is +/-0.50 diopter change. Please speak to optician for more information.
Eyewear Returns
Eyewear can be returned within 30 days for a full refund, frames must be returned undamaged. A 15% Restocking fee applies to eyewear returned within 90 days. Returns processed after 90 days are void. Returns will not be made on eyewear that was previously remade.
All electronic eyewear is considered a final sale and is not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
