About Susan K. Fish, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Susan K. Fish, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology. She received her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York and completed her internship and residency at Baylor University College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Fish offers the most advanced technologies in cataract surgery including Laser- Assisted cataract surgery (Lensx and ORA). She utilizes an array of intraocular lenses including multi-focal, extended depth-of-focus and toric implants. These lenses help decrease the dependence on glasses and contacts.
Dr. Fish is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, providing patient care in general eye health, including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, diabetic eye exams, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Fish is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Houston Ophthalmological Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Society of Eye
Physicians and Surgeons and the Montgomery County Medical Society. She is the treasurer for the Texas Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and is an active member of EYE PAC that supports Texas legislation for high quality patient care and vision preservation.
Dr. Fish received her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She resides in The Woodlands, TX and enjoys working out, live music and spending time with her 2 children.
