Dr. Aaron M. Miller is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist and adult strabismus specialist who brings exceptional expertise and compassionate care to families throughout the Houston area. As a proud native Texan with deep roots in medical education and research, Dr. Miller combines his extensive training from prestigious institutions including UT Austin, Texas Tech University, UT Health Science Center San Antonio, and Baylor College of Medicine with a patient-centered philosophy focused on clear communication and education. His specialized fellowship training at Texas Children's Hospital, combined with his roles as a principal investigator for the nation's leading pediatric eye research group (PEDIG) and his advocacy work with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, ensures that patients receive cutting-edge, evidence-based care. Dr. Lisa Roach is a board-licensed pediatric optometrist in Houston who pioneered the first specialty infant contact lens clinic at Texas Children's Hospital and now provides comprehensive pediatric eye care at Houston Eye Associates. Specializing in pediatric optometry for children from newborn to adolescence, Dr. Roach expertly treats lazy eye (amblyopia), strabismus (eye misalignment), failed vision screenings, and pediatric eye diseases with techniques tailored to pre-verbal and nonverbal children who cannot communicate their visual symptoms. Her pediatric eye care services include comprehensive eye exams, vision therapy, urgent eye care, and specialized treatment for complex childhood vision conditions. As Dr. Miller's optometric partner at Houston Eye Associates, Dr. Roach combines award-winning clinical expertise with compassionate pediatric care to ensure optimal vision development for the Greater Houston-area children.
Monsey Alexander, C.O.
Certified Orthoptist
Monsey, CO, native Houstonian, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston. Upon graduation, she worked as an ophthalmic technician under Dr. Malcolm Mazow, retired pediatric ophthalmologist at Houston Eye Associates. Dr. Mazow is an integral reason in choosing her career in orthoptics and completed the Orthoptic Fellowship program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There, Monsey completed a two-year master’s level training and successfully passed a series of board examinations to receive her certification in 2012.
Monsey has previously worked in San Antonio and then returned home to Houston where she served as a clinical and academic orthoptist working in both pediatric and neuro-ophthalmology at Moran Pediatric Ophthalmology affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital. She then desired to return to Spring area and has worked under Dr. Aaron Miller since 2018. Monsey was actively involved in clinical research and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Association of Certified Orthoptists and American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus
Currently, Monsey is one of the few Orthoptists in the Houston area and is passionate about her career in pediatric and adult strabismus.In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two little girls and finding new places to travel to both internationally and in the US.
