`Lookin Good` Shamrock Strut Fun Run
The Houston Eye Associates Foundation would like to thank all the sponsors, participants and volunteers for making this year’s event a SUCCESS!
More than 850 runners participated in this annual race, a 30% increase from 2011. THANK YOU!
Lots of fun took place on Saturday, March 17 as runners and supporters began their St. Patrick’s Day celebration with a Kids K, 5K/10K race and a costume contest for the Most Green, Most Irish and Most Unique.
After the race, everyone was invited to ride or cheer on the Houston Eye Associates Foundation and Carl Zeiss parade float taking place in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Houston. More than 40 volunteers danced alongside the parade float to the tunes from the oversized 104.1 KRBE party van directly in front of the float while handing out bead necklaces.
Great fun was had by all!
