This family focused community event offers great fun and lots of interactive activities for everyone: face painting, moonwalks, vendor games, door prizes, hula-hoops station, arts and crafts station, great food from local vendors, drinks, desserts and music provided by 104.1 KRBE.

The race begins at the corner of Brompton and Gramercy (right behind the Kelsey Seybold Main Campus Clinic on Holcombe). The race path travels south on Brompton to Braeswood. Runners make a right on Braeswood toward Stella Link and return back on Braeswood and turn left on Brompton. The finish line is at Gramercy and Brompton a few yards from the starting line. 10K runners will run the loop twice.
The course is USATF sanctioned and certified. Water stations will be available at the start, finish and on the course. The race is closed to all bicycles and rollerblades. For the safety of all runners, participants with strollers must begin towards the back of the starting line. Pets are prohibited on the race course.

Parking
Free parking will be available in assigned areas of the Houston Eye Associates parking lot and at the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. A map will be included in the runners' packets. Volunteers will be onsite during event to assist with available parking.
Race Awards
Awards will be given to Overall and Masters Divisions Male and Female
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female finishers in the categories listed will receive an award:
12 and under
13 - 19
20 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60 - 69
70 and over
To be eligible for an award, runner must wear assigned chip and be timed. There are no duplication of awards. The Kids K Fun Run is a non-competitive event. All Kids K finishers will receive a medal.

Runners may pick up their race packets and bib numbers from Luke's Locker on the following days:

Bib numbers may be picked up on race day. Ordered shirt sizes and packets are not guaranteed during race day pick up.
Post-Race Party
After your run, celebrate with fun, food and music from KRBE 104.1 FM. Kids will enjoy the moonwalks, face painting, creating their own fun sunglasses and winning prizes from the post-race vendors.
Chip Timing
The 10K and 5K run will be chip timed. Chips will be available at packet pick up.
