About the Shamrock Strut Fun Run

This family focused community event offers great fun and lots of interactive activities for everyone: face painting, moonwalks, vendor games, door prizes, hula-hoops station, arts and crafts station, great food from local vendors, drinks, desserts and music provided by 104.1 KRBE.

NEW FOR 2014

Start your own Shamrock Strut Team! Gather at least eight of your walking/running buddies and establish a team. You can create your team online. Send the link to your friend and family members and encourage them to support you and the many adults and children on the verge of losing their eyesight.

Fundraise individually or as a Team!  Do you know friends and family members that prefer to support you and the Houston Eye Associates Foundation from the comfort of their home (or bed) early Saturday morning on the day of the race? That is fine! Ask them to help you achieve your fundraising goal.

What's the incentive?

The Team and Individual Runner that raises the most donations (registration fees not included) will be recognized during the Post-Race Party, have access to a reserved resting area during the post-race party and will receive special post-race goodies. AND most importantly, knowing that you are helping adults and children on the verge of losing their vision necessary receive medical and surgical eye care services.
