Dr. Sami’s Philosophy:
“A wise man once told me that asymmetry is the rule not the exception. My philosophy is to help patients recognize and achieve the symmetry that they aspire to…be it in form or function. Early on in life I was struck by how the restoration of function alone is but a partial victory, for without form one cannot achieve that semblance to human life that nature originally intended. Form and function together in harmony restore not only the aesthetic quality but also the spirit of the individual. This I believe is the crux of what one strives to achieve as an oculoplastic surgeon. I can think of no greater privilege than an opportunity to use my knowledge and skills to profoundly enhance my patients’ quality of life.”
