Mark S. Jenkins, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Mark S. Jenkins, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has practiced in the Conroe-Woodlands area since 1981. He received his medical degree from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis in 1973, completed his ophthalmology residency at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and completed a fellowship in cornea and external disease at the University of Pittsburgh.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Texas Ophthalmological Association, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, the Montgomery County Medical Society, and the Houston Ophthalmological Society.
Dr. Jenkins has more than 30 years of experience performing cataract surgery and is currently implanting the ReSTOR and TECNIS multi-focal implants and the Toric (astigmatism-correcting) intraocular lens.
He has been an active participant in Benevolent Missions International, providing eye care to the underprivileged primarily in Belize, Central America, over the last 20 years.
Dr. Jenkins is married to his wife, Susy, has two children, and resides in The Woodlands, Texas.
