Carlos A. Gonzales M.D.
Dr. Carlos A. Gonzales is a board certified Pediatric Ophthalmologist practicing at two of our Houston locations (Gramercy and Memorial City) since 1996. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Gonzales specializes in pediatric and adult strabismus, pediatric anterior segment disease, childhood cataracts, and eye diseases of the newborn, including retinopathy of prematurity. He also performs routine children's eye exams. Dr. Gonzales is an active staff member of Texas Children's Hospital and Hermann Children's Hospital.
Dr. Gonzales attended Stanford University as an undergraduate. He received his medical degree from The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He completed a residency in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
Dr. Gonzales and his wife, Dr. Hortencia Luna Gonzales, live in Houston and have four sons.
Dr. Gonzales sees patients at the Gramercy and Memorial City locations.
